Chaplains in VA Medical Centers and State Veterans Homes often search for special event programming that will reinforce their own therapeutic activity among institutionalized veterans. Throughout America, Gospel music artists stand ready to volunteer their unique talents for that purpose, but until the formation of The Veterans Fund there was no central organization or clearinghouse to bring together the Chaplains who want programs, and the Gospel music artists who are willing to provide them. The Veterans Fund provides that link. The Veterans Fund does not promote Gospel music programs. The Fund serves a facilitating role for interested Chaplains. The Veterans Fund is very careful to maintain not only the requirements of church/state separation, but the spirit as well. Chaplains may email KatieBrooks@VeteransFund.com
